Tips for designing your service page

This information is for therapists who are creating or updating their service page. 

A service page is where visitors to a website go to find out more about the services you offer. 

Your service page should clearly show and explain the service or services you offer. If you offer multiple services the simplest way to do this is to have a section on this page for each of your services. 

This might include a section about play therapy sessions, a section about filial sessions, and a section about supervision sessions. Make it clear who each service is for and where the service happens. 

If you offer a lot of services it is sensible to split them into categories, for example, 

• services for children, 

• services for schools 

• and services for therapists. 

This gives visitors to your website a clear path to finding the information they need and it means they don’t have to look at content that is irrelevant to them. 

Make sure you include a clear way for visitors to contact you from your service page. You don’t want to lose potential leads because they couldn’t work out how to get in touch with you.
